Waiting for \u201cThe Season\u201d
\nIt is that waiting time\u2026\u2026..
\nNot the gray remains of winter
\nBut not the lemony green of newly-spring spring.
\nThe sun is now warm on my face
\nBut the breeze still gusts coldly, what is left
\nof winter.
\nWe wait restlessly, eager to begin
\nthe scrubbing, sanding, painting preparations that lead to our freedom in the wind
\non the waves.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Hope you all are enjoying a healthy and restful off season.<\/p>\n

Wright Memorial Award \u2013 given to the JYC Member Racer with the lowest overall score across the 3 series, Rob Lambert! Many, many, many thanks to our dedicated volunteers who put our season together, from Race Committee on the water, on the shore, providing boats and updating our website with results!\u00a0 Without our regular volunteers, we wouldn\u2019t have such great racing: Polly Alphonso, Richard Eberhard, Gary & Lesley Engelson, Roy Guay, Anne Lane, Jack Rienzo, John Sahagian, Mike & Colleen Schnack, and Kate Shuhy.
